Nader Shah

This post is an introducing about Nader Shah Afshar. so if you’re seeking a person with this name I should say here is a wrong choice.

Nader Shah was a king of Iran in Afshariye Period. he was the creator of Afshariyan dynasty. the special thing about this king is that he chose by a national congress. this Congress created by himself. mostly the king of previous dynasties chosen by their fathers. however, they were a king or chosen by other kings. but about Nader Shah is different.

 

 

the Afshariyan dynasty was between Safaviye and Zandiye dynasty. Afshariyan is one of the empires that Iran was a big country in their period.it’s like the Achaemenid Empire.

Nader conquered India. Koh-i-Nor diamond and Daria-i-Noor diamond Was taken by Nader from India. now Koh-i-Nor is keeping in London tower in Britania. Daria-i-Noor diamond is one of the largest cut diamond in the world. it is keeping in the Iranian Crown Jewels of Central Bank of Iran in Tehran now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the tomb of Nader Shah is in Mashhad. this city is eastern north of Iran. there is a statute of the king in his the tomb. the king’s statue is on horseback and three soldiers follow him. soldiers are from the different area of Iran that is shown the alliance between Iranians.

this statue made by Abolhassan Sadighi one of the best an Iranian sculptor. first, the maquette was made in Iran then the main statue was made in Rome city.

the building of the tomb was made by Houshang Seyhoun. he was one of the famous Iranian architects. he made Avicenna’s tomb, Khayam, Ferdowsi and Kamalo-ol-molk. this building inspired by Daria-i-Noor diamond.
