Avors(Juniperus) tree, the\u00a0sign of perseverance. because its powerful roots in every condition are ready for a fight. fight to wind. fight to rain. fight to soil erosion.it’s amazing tree. an evergreen tree.in the west of Iran, there are many of juniper tree. especially I want to speak about trees in the Zagros mountains. in Farsi, we called\u00a0 “Oros”. in Lori dialect called\u00a0“Avors”.I think it’s\u00a0<\/span>a sign of power. the tree that its roots in the earth like columns that keep the soil.<\/span><\/p>\n

Area Growing<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are about 60 species of this tree in the world. it usually grows 2500 meters above the sea\u00a0level. this tree grows in the worse condition. it has more\u00a0of 2000 years old. in Iran\u00a0oldest tree is “Sarve Abarkoh”.the age of that estimated to be 4000 to 5000 years.\u00a0 Abarkoh is a town in Yazd province. Sarve abarkoh\u00a0is kind of Avors. it usually\u00a0grows in the cold area.<\/p>\n

Avors in Doroud<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

since of the past, the people in the village\u00a0used the wood for making house and fire. in addition\u00a0to the Oak(Balot), the people used Avors’s\u00a0wood for making a house. but I must say they used more of the Oak. the most house that made in the village of lorestan, made of plaster of clay and wood (in the past not now). I love the smell of clay.<\/p>\n

Properties<\/strong><\/p>\n

Except for wood of Avors. I can say many things to property. in my opinion, beauty\u00a0is the important property. when I look to the Avorse. I have a good feel for\u00a0this power, simplicity. I think Avors is like a man that fighting to problems. but he doesn’t have any complaint. it just keeps silent and with pride, looking to the sign of GOD (nature).<\/p>\n

At the end. if you see this tree. just for a moment thinking about a maker\u00a0of that. enjoy all this beauty.<\/p>\n
