One of the oldest trees in Zagros. Oak in the Zagros mountains is a famous\u00a0tree in this area. the Strong tree in lorestan. lorestan province is the second biggest\u00a0forest of Oak in Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0unfortunately, these forests are getting to destruction. it is useful because the wood’s of that is good for charcoal. that’s the main reason\u00a0for cutting the tree.<\/span><\/p>\n

the fruit of Oak is very useful. in the past, nomads use for making bread. the flour of this tree is few blacks and few bitter. for making the bread of that you need some fruit of this tree. before\u00a0making flour you must boil fruit in the water. this work for sweating and becoming\u00a0to the sweet fruit.<\/span><\/p>\n

the Zagros mountains<\/a> are the biggest source for that in Iran. Lorestan people say “Razo” to Oak or “Daar”. Daar is the bigger than usual Oak tree. for creating Oak.you can choose a good\u00a0quality of Oak fruit and at the end of winter panting a seed of Oak in depth of 10 or 12 cm in the wet soil.<\/p>\n

“Balot” is the name\u00a0of Oak in Farsi. squirrels are effective factors for growth and\u00a0proliferation. they can choose the best Oaks. they hidden Oaks under the ground for winter. but sometimes forget the place of hidden\u00a0the Oaks.this is effective factors to the proliferation.<\/p>\n

This tree grows at an altitude of fewer than 3,000 meters. the\u00a0biggest\u00a0 Oak forest in Doroud<\/a> is “Razoso”. the forest is located near Aznader waterfall. the average age for each tree is between 600 to 1000 years.<\/p>\n
